Nvidia announces 64GB DGX Spark at $4,999 for October 23

logo Image: Primary
Nvidia announced a 64GB version of its DGX Spark AI computer on October 2, with retail sales scheduled to begin October 23 at $4,999. Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP and MSI will sell the system with DGX OS and Nvidia's AI software installed. Nvidia says the computer can run models with up to 100 billion parameters locally. Two units can connect through their ConnectX-7 network interfaces, with software automating cluster setup and combining 128GB of memory. Nvidia's internal testing found performance up to 1.7 times that of one unit. The smaller configuration retains the larger model's core silicon and 273 GB/s memory bandwidth, but halves its memory capacity.
