Quantum X Labs reports lower computational errors on three IBM quantum processors

Quantum X Labs said its LayerQake calibration technology reduced maximum cumulative error by 15- to 21-fold in experiments on three IBM quantum processors. Measurement bias fell from approximately 11%-15% to below 6% on each processor, according to the company. The company said the pre-registered tests used ibm_fez, ibm_kingston and ibm_marrakesh. LayerQake addresses inaccuracies caused by hardware noise without requiring calibration tailored to each computational problem. Quantum X Labs plans further testing across additional workloads, conditions and hardware. It cautioned that results from these limited experiments may not be replicated on other hardware or in commercial applications.
