Atlassian ships code context and expands Jira coding agent integrations

Atlassian ships code context and expands Jira coding agent integrations Image: Primary
Atlassian says it is shipping Code Context, which indexes connected Bitbucket and GitHub repositories so developers and AI agents can search across codebases and connect findings to related work. Jira integrations for Cognition's Devin, Factory, and Warp are also available through the Atlassian Marketplace. Code Context maps files, functions, and their relationships, combining exact code searches with natural-language queries. It links answers to Jira work items, Confluence pages, Loom videos, and connected tools. Teams can assign Jira work items to agents, invoke them in comments, or trigger them through automations with human approval checkpoints. OpenAI Codex support, Planner, and tools for tracking agent sessions are coming later.
