Apple opens HomeView preorders with Siri AI and household face recognition Image: Primary
Apple opened preorders for HomeView on October 13, introducing a 7-inch home display with Siri AI, video calling and smart home controls. Availability begins November 13, the company said. HomeView recognizes up to six people and presents personal apps and widgets for each. Siri AI can draw on messages, calendars and other personal context when paired with an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad. The display also controls compatible home accessories and can show up to nine camera feeds. Personal content appears only when HomeView recognizes the enrolled user and their paired iPhone or iPad is present and has been recently unlocked.
