AWS expands S3 Express One Zone to four additional regions

AWS has made S3 Express One Zone available in London, Jakarta, Hong Kong and Cape Town, bringing the storage class to 19 AWS Regions. The expansion gives customers in those regions access to storage intended for frequently accessed data and applications sensitive to delays. AWS says the service delivers single-digit millisecond access, speeds up to 10x faster and request costs up to 80% lower than S3 Standard. It supports machine learning training, interactive analytics and caching for AI search engines, while storing data within a single Availability Zone.
