AWS HealthOmics adds automatic compute fallback for Nextflow tasks

AWS says HealthOmics now lets researchers specify an ordered list of accelerator options for tasks in Nextflow bioinformatics workflows. If the preferred accelerator is unavailable, the service searches the alternatives automatically without requiring users to resubmit the run. A CPU option can serve as the final fallback. Each accelerator profile has a configurable search timeout. Shorter waits move tasks through alternatives faster; longer waits increase the probability of reserving the preferred accelerator. The feature is available in all HealthOmics regions.
