OnePlus and Nothing Raise Smartphone Prices in India Amid Ongoing RAM Crisis

OnePlus and Nothing Raise Smartphone Prices in India Amid Ongoing RAM Crisis Image: Primary
Smartphone price hikes have hit the OnePlus 15 and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, among others, in India, as manufacturers respond to the ongoing RAM crisis. Motorola raised US pricing on its latest Moto G series. Samsung raised prices on higher-storage versions of Galaxy Z Fold 7, while also raising prices on many other Galaxy devices in recent weeks. OnePlus has just raised the price on both OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15R in India, which is notable because it is one of the first flagship price hikes affecting all models. The higher prices were spotted by Abhishek Yadav on Twitter/X, with price hikes of around $25-$50 or so. The OnePlus 15 12/256GB model rose from ₹72,999 to ₹77,999, while the 16/512GB model rose from ₹79,999 to ₹85,999. The OnePlus 15R 12/256GB model rose from ₹50,499 to ₹52,999, and the 12/512GB model rose from ₹55,499 to ₹57,999. Meanwhile, Nothing has also raised prices in India across its current lineup, just a couple of months after Nothing Phone (4a) first went on sale. These price hikes are effective and are the equivalent of around $25-50 extra. The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro 8GB+128GB model rose from ₹39,999 to ₹44,999, the 8GB+256GB from ₹42,999 to ₹47,999, and the 12GB+256GB from ₹45,999 to ₹50,999. The Nothing Phone (4a) 8GB+128GB rose from ₹31,999 to ₹34,999, the 8GB+256GB from ₹34,999 to ₹37,999, and the 12GB+256GB from ₹37,999 to ₹40,999. The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite 8GB+128GB rose from ₹24,999 to ₹27,999, and the 8GB+256GB from ₹26,999 to ₹29,999. Other price hikes have hit Redmi as well as Realme. Samsung has also raised prices on some of its mid-range phones in India. For OnePlus and Nothing, these price hikes have not affected US prices.
