ODC Completes $45M Series A Funding

ORAN Development Company, LLC announced the successful closing of a $45 million Series A funding round. The announcement came from New York on March 26, 2026. A syndicate of investors led by Booz Allen, Cisco Investments, Nokia and NVIDIA backed the round. AT&T, MTN and Telecom Italia joined as tier one telecom participants. Phoenix Venture Partners and affiliates of Cerberus Capital Management also took part. The investment joins these leaders to accelerate an AI native open architecture platform. The platform unifies communication, sensing and edge intelligence. ODC serves as the architect of the U.S. based Odyssey RAN software platform. The company partners with top tier global customers and expects to ramp commercial engagements throughout 2026. NVIDIA senior vice president Ronnie Vasishta said ODC's AI RAN stack turns today's 5G networks into a distributed AI computing fabric at the wireless edge. Cisco provider mobility senior vice president and general manager Masum Mir said the mobile network becomes the central fabric of the digital economy. Nokia chief technology and AI officer Pallavi Mahajan said AI is a fundamentally new workload that is reshaping network architecture. The participation of operators across Africa, Europe and the United States underscores the global scale of the syndicate.
