Meta is testing robots that can plug cables, reset servers and perform other data-center tasks, WIRED reported, citing current and former workers. The report says Meta is evaluating a Kinova robotic arm for power cycling, a robot for swapping networking cables, and dual-armed Watney robots for cabling work in Altoona, Iowa. It also describes ABB robots being tested in New Albany, Ohio. Meta declined to comment on the reported testing and said it continues to train and hire data-center workers.
