Amazon releases DCV 2026.0 with expanded Linux support

Amazon says DCV 2026.0 is now available with support for RHEL 10, Rocky Linux 10, CentOS 10 and Ubuntu 26.04. The remote display software lets customers access desktops and application sessions across Windows, Linux and macOS; the supported Linux hosts and sessions run on the Wayland display server. The release adds a macOS client with gamepad support and updates Windows and Linux clients. Amazon says multithreaded decoding of H.264 frame slices lowers latency on Linux and macOS clients. Windows hosts gain configured link redirection to local browsers and access to client-side printer preferences.
