Tesla expands Robotaxi rides across much of central and northwest Houston Image: Primary
Tesla expanded its autonomous Robotaxi service to much of Houston's 610 Loop and northwest Houston, Houston Public Media reported. The service previously operated in the city's northwest near Jersey Village. The expanded map excludes the northeast portion of the loop. Riders can hail vehicles through the Robotaxi app and see estimated prices before a trip. The service uses Cybercab and Model Y vehicles; the Cybercab has no steering wheel or pedals. Tesla also operates Robotaxis in Austin and Dallas.
