FTC Solar files to register shares tied to $20 million equity facility

FTC Solar filed an S-1 registration statement covering the resale of up to 4,560,145 common shares by Lincoln Park Capital Fund. The filing says up to 4.5 million of those shares may be issued under an August 4 purchase agreement that provides FTC Solar with up to $20 million in committed equity financing, subject to the registration statement becoming effective and other conditions. The prospectus is preliminary, and FTC Solar says it is not selling securities under the prospectus or receiving proceeds from Lincoln Park's resale of registered shares.
